EAP Counselor (Part-Time)
Milwaukee, WI

FEI has an opportunity for a licensed, experienced professional for our telephonic EAP Services Center. This is a part time, non-benefit position for a minimum of 16 hours per week during business hours. In addition to regularly scheduled time, the ideal candidate would have flexibility and be able to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business. The successful candidate will have experience providing EAP assessment and referral services in addition to counseling.   

Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years’ experience post-master’s degree as a licensed provider of counseling/psychotherapy. At least one year providing EAP counseling.

Considered a Bonus: Bilingual, expertise with children, experience with substance abuse. Previous experience and competency using a telephonic headset and computer while interacting with a caller is preferred.

EAP Counselor
Milwaukee, WI

FEI seeks a licensed therapist for a full-time EAP Counselor position in our beautiful office in downtown Milwaukee. This position is part of our EAP Services Center Team and reports to the Manager. Applicant must be fully licensed to practice independently. The candidate hired will have at least 3 years of licensed practice in general mental health counseling and at least one year of EAP experience. Our EAP Counselors answer incoming calls during business hours from people accessing the EAP benefit provided by their employer for such things as brief counseling, legal or financial consultation, help finding resources for child or dependent care, higher education, adoption and others.

Counselors must have excellent customer service and social skills as well as comfort with a wide range of diversity. Sound judgement and the ability to think on your feet are necessary. While rarely needed, experience assessing for mental health emergencies and coordinating care for any such need is required. Broad knowledge of substance abuse is important. General familiarity with resource options is helpful. Applicant must participant in an on-call rotation and be willing to travel to customer locations in Wisconsin and US.

Development Manager
Milwaukee, WI

The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, Inc. (Alliance) seeks a Development Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development Manager will help to advance our national public and private grants program; coordinate annual unrestricted appeals; manage our donor management system; and provide development resources and opportunities to our national network of health and human services organizations.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of experience or training. A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization with demonstrated success in a development function. Commitment and passion for advancing the capacity and influence of the national nonprofit sector. Experience in grants management and proposal writing/editing; annual fund and direct mail; donor management systems; and fund development planning.
