The pace and dynamics of media coverage of crisis events has evolved radically within recent years. The nature of the news cycle and the proliferation of social media presents unprecedented challenges for managing communication during a crisis event.
Despite this evolution, the challenges at the core of a crisis communicator’s responsibilities remain the same: To protect the image, brand, and reputation of the organization, and in many cases, to operate with the parameters and requirements stipulated by laws and regulations.
FEI has a created a one-day media training class to provide the tools and techniques executives and spokespeople will need to face the media during a crisis event. This class includes direct simulations of news conference situations as well as critique and coaching of video recording.
This training can be customized to meet the needs of any industry or organization.
