June 13, 2016, Milwaukee, Wis. — FEI Behavioral Health, a social enterprise with an over 35-year history and leader in workforce resilience from crisis management to EAP, will present a session at the upcoming Safety & Health Excellence Conference sponsored by Region IV Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association, Inc., (VPPPA) in Lexington, Kentucky, running June 21-23, 2016.

FEI’s Business Solutions Engineer Raquelle Solon will present, “Incorporating Trauma Informed Services into Violence Prevention Training,” on June 22, 8 a.m. EST. The session will dive deep into aspects of trauma informed care and the specific benefits of using this approach when faced with a potential violent situation in the workplace. Attendees will learn concrete and practical advice for implementing trauma-informed crisis intervention programs through real-life experiences and lessons learned.

In addition to her presentation, Solon also will be exhibiting at the conference.

Solon is responsible for helping organizations determine and implement a holistic crisis management system. She also is responsible for the delivery of workplace violence prevention, leadership development, and crisis management trainings, and is experienced in reviewing current training and policies and procedures to identify gaps and work with clients towards a solution. Solon was named “Woman of the Year” for 2012/2013 by the National Association of Professional Women for her dedication and role in workplace violence prevention.
